Ah, on the new episode of The Simpsons tonight...

Lisa dresses up as a boy to prove the best math student is really a...girl. In one of her dream sequences all these math symbols and signs are floating around along with one number 27. Which I immediately pointed out to Mark, and then of course the 27 spoke to her...it said .

"27."

When Rand and I went to the New England Aquarium, we had our photo taken...one of those souvenir photo things. We were assigned a random number for picking up our photos...and it was:

27 is my favorite number, so I always keep an eye out for it. I noticed one last night:

In the movie Everything Is Illuminated, the main character (Elijah Wood) flies back to the United States and walks out of Gate 27 at the airport.

It should be noted that binary for 27 is palindromic and pretty: 11011
